SANCERRE ROSE / ROSE WINE Domaine Henry Natter
Characteristics
Surface area in production : 1 hectare (2.5 acres). Average age of vines : 20 years Grape variety : 100% Pinot Noir Sanitary state of the crop : Good. Harvest : Hand and/or mechanical harvesting. Vinification : Same vinification as white wine, i.e., careful pressing of the grapes followed by fermentation in large wooden barrels or stainless steel vats according to the needs of the particular vintage. Maturation : 8 to 9 months in large oak barrels (approximately 50 hectoliter capacity) and in stainless steel vats.
At Your Table Serve chilled but not ice-cold (10°C to 12°C; 50°F to 54°F). Serving suggestions : Our Sancerre Rosé makes a delightful aperitif - especially enjoyable in the summer. While awaiting summer, enjoy our rosé with meals prepared with a cream base, e.g., chicken in a cream sauce. Also makes a delicious companion to international cuisine: Italian, Asian, North African, Indian…. |
