Characteristics

 

Surface area in production : 2+ hectares (5 acres)

Average age of vines : 30 years

Grape variety : 100% Pinot Noir

Sanitary state of the crop : Excellent.

Harvest : Hand harvesting only.

Vinification : Principal fermentation with the grapes in stainless steel vats followed by careful pressing of the grapes. Oak barrel aging. Exceptional care is taken in all steps of vinification.

Maturation : 15 to 18 months in 2 hectoliter oak barrels.

Enjoy our Sancerre Rouge at 15° C to 18° C (59° F to 64° F).

Serving suggestions :

Meats: For white meats or grilled red meats, serve a young vintage for its fruitiness. 

For more savory meats such as wild game or duck, select a more mature vintage.
